This is a high quality, reliable battery charger that is fully automatic, will neither undercharge, nor overcharge your battery and will not cause your battery to gas excessively.

The Salmar battery charger incorporates microchip control and provides a safe and consistent battery charge and is suitable for 12v batteries from approx. 16ah to 75ah. The Salmar Guardian Leisure battery charger is rated at 4 amps (7 amps RMS) and can be connected to your battery almost indefinitely without damaging your battery. The battery charger is suitable for use with 12v standard car batteries, leisure (deep cycle), gel, AGM and sealed batteries up to around 75ah; if your battery is larger then we would recommend a more powerful charger.

This battery charger is easy to use and has a LED display that confirms correct connection to the mains and the battery, in addition to charge indicators that display the batteries current state of charge.

A fully discharged 85amp/hr battery would be charged by this battery charger in approximately 24 hours, a 75amp/hr battery would take approximately 18/19 hours.

Having this battery charger connected to and charging a leisure battery that is not currently used, could significantly extend the batteries operational life.
